In Cape May, the World Series of Birding lets birders challenge themselves for a full 24-hour period to count the various bird species. It's usually easy to spot bald eagles, great blue herons, and osprey nearby. The entire area is perfect for boating, camping or hiking.

At Dutch Neck Village you can visit museum shops which feature exquisite glassware and other fine crafts. The Glasstown Arts District in Millville is a popular place to view exhibits that showcase the works of regional artists.
